Top Ten Tuesday: One sitting reads on my TBR

TTT-NEW

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

The original topic for today was rainy days reads, but for me a rainy day is a day where I can only little chunks of reading time in between cooking, cleaning, and playing board games. So here are 10 short books I’m excited to get to.

5Eat Your Heart Out by Dayna Ingram

132 pages

8I’m Afraid of Men by Vivek Shraya

96 pages

7Aquicorn Cove by Katie O’Neill

96 pages

9Aetherchrist by Kirk Jones

138 pages

2Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris

176 pages

6Ghost by Jason Reynolds

192 pages

10Je ne suis pas une fille à papa by Christophe Honoré

77 pages

4Person by Sam Pink

87 pages

1Regarding the Pain of Others by Susan Sontag

117 pages

3Millennium Approaches by Tony Kushner

119 pages

As a kid I would usually read books in one sitting, no matter the length. These days that’s much harder to do, but with short books it’s possible.

What do you think of short books? They can get a bad rep, but you need skills to build a strong story in less than 200 pages.
