A lot of people have a goal of reducing how many books they spend, but I’m a pretty cheap person so that’s not a problem for me. I’m actually working full-time at the moment and I’m privileged enough to have very few expenses. It’s a bit of an informal goal, but in 2019 I’m working on allowing myself to buy books and to support authors by preordering books.

Can you believe I got the last three in hardcovers for 5$!
So far this year I’ve preordered more books than I did for the rest of my life! It’s really fun to get book mail when I’m not expecting it while also supporting authors.
I didn’t think I had read such a large segment of the books I bought this year. The section I want to improve on is ”next in series”; I’ve already bought the previous book(s) so getting those read fits my goals so I’ve no reason not to pick them up.
Out of all the books I haven’t read yet which one do you think I should pick up next?
