WWW #1: January 24, 2018 (I know it’s not Wednesday)

www wednesday

Back in 2012, when I had my first book blog I took part in a weekly meme (can’t remember the name, but it either happended on Monday or on Tuesday) similar to WWW so why not get back into it with the host Taking On A World Of Words.

Here are the 3 W’s:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Pentagruel by François Rabelais— 46%

Twleve Days of Christmas by Debbie Maccomber— 73%

The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells— 44%

Out of these three I’m most excited about Pentagruel. I picked it up thinking I would have to suffer through boring Monk writing but it’s actually really funny once you manage to get pass all the misogyny… I’m also pretty proud that I’m reading the original Middle French version and only sometimes peaking at the modern translation.

Sadie  by Courtney Summers   | ★★★★☆ (or 3.5?)

Girl in Pieces  by Kathleen Glasgow   | ★★★☆☆

The Wife Between Us    by  Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen| ★★★☆☆

Sparking the Fire  by Kate Meader    | ★★★☆☆

No strong feelings here.

IDK. I just want to really enjoy a book.
